Mike Gutteridge is a North Yorkshire artist. He studied at the Middlesbrough College of Art and for many years has produced a variety of work in the field of architectural illustration. He was appointed official artist for the Open Golf Championship at Royal Lytham St. Annes. He also enjoys painting semi-impressionist watercolours (see Originals page). Mike is an admirer of Seago, Edward Wesson and John Yardley. He has developed a free impressionist style of watercolour, capturing the movement and architecture of the North Yorkshire market towns.
